Register for My Case Protected B

The registration process you will follow depends on your role in the proceeding. Select the one that applies to you:

  1. I am a refugee claimant or appellant
  2. I am a designated representative or counsel

Refugee claimants and appellants

You may be able to register for My Case if you are a refugee claimant or appellant who is:

  • making a refugee claim before the Refugee Protection Division (RPD)
  • appealing a decision to the Refugee Appeal Division (RAD)
  • responding to a Minister’s application to stop or cancel (cease or vacate) your refugee protection
  • responding to a Minister’s appeal before the RAD

 

What you need to do

When it’s time for you to register, you will receive an invitation. Either the RPD or the RAD will send you a registration code. If you have received your registration code, make sure you have the following items ready:

  • your Refugee Protection Claimant Document or your Refugee Protection Identity Document
  • correspondence from the IRB about your file
  • your Basis of Claim (BoC) form

Counsel and designated representatives

You can register for My Case if you are a designated representative or counsel who appears before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.

 

What you need to do

Email the My Case team in your region and ask to register:
